A chandlery was originally the office in a wealthy medievil household responsible for wax and candles, as well as the room in which the candles were kept. It could be headed by a chandler.  By the 18th century, most commercial chandlers dealt in both candles, oils, soap, and even paint. As these provided ships’ stores, chandlery came to refer to a shop selling nautical items for ships and boats

The chandler has been replaced by Al Booms man on the floor and there stock is more up to date with a whole array of spares and replacements you may need for your boat as well as many “essentials” that perhaps you didn’t know your boat needed.

Quite literally stocked to the ceiling if you happen to not find the items you are looking for talk to the staff who may be able to guide or assist you in ordering.  With strong supply lines deliveries don’t take long to arrive on our shores.
